Fundraising is banana-town right now. We're doing eight deals so far... THIS MONTH! Never been a better time to start a company.
Why did none of my friends tell me programming a text editor was one of the hardest things in the world?
One of the more challenging technical onsites I had was making a text editor in < 4hrs. So many edge cases and things to consider. It was brutal.
In some respects, Reflect is another data company. This time just dealing with human io.
Ya it's no joke. For sure one of the most easily underestimated programming problems. And as a user you really feel deeply every little thing because number of interactions per minute is so damn high.
I helped build collaborative editing for Yammer back in the day. Text editors are deceptively complex.
haha I could have definitely told you that... we've been rewriting ours for like 2 years now :(
Yep it seems a bit different from Roam. I have said to many CEOs of similar products to build the Kindle integration as a hook for customers, finally someone made it! Waiting to give this a try
I too feel like the Superhuman model would work out really well for Reflect Notes since there's a slight learning curve but the ROI is high for those who use it well. A monthly pricing/14-day trial would make sense before the yearly $120 kicks in though.
